We build themes, features and apps for larger, multilingual stores, and connect them to the ERP and back-office systems behind them.

Custom themes

Storefronts built around your brand on Dawn, Horizon or your existing theme. Fast, accessible and easy for your team to maintain.

Custom functionality

Product configurators, wishlists, advanced filtering, loyalty points, discount logic and checkout bundling with Shopify Functions: rules that Shopify does not do out of the box.

ERP & system integrations

Reliable sync between your store and ERP, PIM, search and other systems, designed so data stays consistent.

Custom Shopify apps

Admin apps for content sync across stores, data tooling and internal workflows, built with the Admin GraphQL API.

Migrations

Moving customers, orders and content from other platforms, with dry runs, safeguards and a clear record of every row.

Performance & refactoring

Rebuilding or cleaning up heavy themes to improve speed and maintainability without disrupting a live store. Critical CSS, deferred scripts and no layout shift.

Curaprox (CURADEN AG)

A full redesign of the Swiss and UAE Curaprox stores: two separate Shopify stores running from one shared base theme on Horizon.

What was built
  • Multi-store content system: blocks resolve their own content from the shop domain and from PIM metafields, so the same block renders UAE shipping copy on one store and Swiss copy on the other, and removes itself entirely when the backing metafield is empty.
  • A merchant-configurable product page accordion whose body is chosen by a source setting: rich text, a structured specification set from the PIM, ingredients or store-specific shipping information, with empty-value gating at every level.
  • Expert box block and the HubSpot newsletter integration, including a single language-independent form for the UAE store.
  • Store-aware social links, client-side blog filtering with OR-within-group logic and pagination, and a product card rating component.

EV Zug

The official Shopify storefront of EV Zug, a Swiss National League hockey club: personalised jerseys, checkout bundling, live auctions and ERP-driven pricing.

What was built
  • Checkout bundling: a Cart Transform Function in TypeScript, compiled to WebAssembly, that merges personalised jersey components into a single bundle line in cart and checkout, keeping every component attached for fulfilment with no change to the total. Plus its admin page in the companion app.
  • Jersey personalisation: optical centering of jersey numbers using canvas-based glyph analysis, recalculated after the webfont loads, personalisation pricing, brand fonts and state that survives switching jerseys.
  • Live auction page with bidding interactions, modal flows and guest login.
  • Customer-specific pricing: aico ERP discount groups applied across product pages, product cards, quick add and cart, including Swiss Rappen rounding.
  • Bilingual DE/EN order confirmation emails in Outlook-safe Liquid.
  • Separate development and production themes on a branch-based workflow, with matching environments for the app.

Inuikii

Four connected Shopify builds for the footwear brand: the main Swiss store, a private B2B showroom, an influencer store and a checkout app.

What was built
  • Search: Shopify's native search replaced with a Meilisearch storefront layer across search and collection pages, with colour grouping, market-aware pricing and instant results.
  • A back-in-stock and notify-me flow that replaced a paid third-party app, a size guide with per-product size scales, storewide sale pricing and a returns and refund-request flow driven by order tags and fulfilment status.
  • Virtual Showroom: a private B2B catalogue with prices, cart and checkout removed, and article numbers, size ranges and buyer-focused navigation added.
  • Influencer store: a private storefront with a Klaviyo integration that tags subscribers by store source.
  • Checkout app: a TypeScript Shopify app with an unsubscribe API and a Checkout UI extension showing editorial story cards in checkout and on the thank-you page.
  • Full DE/EN localisation.

Nile

A Swiss fashion retailer running six Shopify stores from one shared theme: CHF, EUR and GBP, each with a test and a production store.

What was built
  • Loyalty program (Nilecard): a theme-driven points system with per-store redemption values, maximum points and fallback logic, plus points balance and history in the customer account.
  • Multi-store and localisation: the GBP store pair added to the build pipeline, cross-store country switching that remembers the shopper's choice, and per-store Klaviyo endpoints.
  • Customer account: order history and order detail with payment method and transaction breakdown.
  • Search: an InstantSearch implementation for the search page and predictive search, with progressive rendering and skeleton loading.
  • SEO: JSON-LD structured data for products, collections and breadcrumbs, including return policy, shipping and delivery-time data, with locale-aware schema and canonical URLs.

Ecofort

Storefront for a Swiss supplier of heating and dehumidification products, plus theme repositories for the sister stores Infrarotheizung and Luftentfeuchter.

What was built
  • Performance: critical CSS extracted, theme scripts deferred, LCP image and fonts preloaded, and the product image slider rebuilt to remove layout shift on mobile.
  • An accessibility pass covering colour contrast, link names and iframe titles.
  • Collection loading with skeleton states, and an advice and news loader with per-article SEO, a 404 for empty pages and inactive articles filtered out.
  • Trusted Shops ratings, a delivery status indicator on the product page and legacy product IDs carried through cart into checkout for tracking.
  • Credit check reliability: Intrum outages were being treated as declines. The backend now reports whether Intrum actually returned a decision, calls have timeouts so checkout never hangs, and checkout shows a neutral "temporarily unavailable" message.

FC Basel 1893

The Swiss football club's website and fan shop, running together on one Shopify theme: news, videos, match data, players and the jersey configurator.

What was built
  • Club content on Shopify: a newest-videos page with category groups and skeleton loading, a faster league table, a "current / next match" button, player squads for the men's and women's teams, and the news pages with category filtering and a breaking news ticker.
  • Header and search: a sticky gradient header with mega menu and mobile drawer, and predictive search across products, players and news in one modal.
  • Jersey configurator: kit number fonts, a top or bottom name position, sponsor badges in the sponsor's brand font with brightness detection for contrast, per-digit pricing for custom numbers and a searchable player number dropdown.
  • Checkout bundling: a Cart Transform admin page and safety gate in the club's companion Shopify app.
  • Customer-specific discounted prices across product pages, collections and cart, stock rules so out-of-stock products cannot be bought, and purchase-disabled products with a notice.

Confiserie Sprüngli

Shopify build for a Swiss confectioner, rebuilding the brand's existing site design on Dawn: product pages, collection pages, navigation and animations.

What was built
  • Product page: tabbed product information (ingredients, nutritional values, declaration), each tab its own snippet, with empty tabs hidden automatically so a product without nutrition data never shows a blank tab.
  • Breadcrumbs, title, price and a transport and delivery-period block.
  • A grid card selector for product options, a product video modal and a related products block.
  • Product badges, including a "New" badge driven by product data.
  • Collection page: banner and breadcrumbs, a sidebar filter layout for desktop and a separate filter experience for mobile, and product cards rebuilt to match the brand's existing design.
  • Desktop mega menu, mobile navigation drawer and a reveal-on-scroll animation.

Chrüterhüsli

Storefront for a Swiss drugstore and natural products retailer, built on Shopify's Horizon theme.

What was built
  • Wishlist, end to end: instead of browser storage, the client talks to a Shopify app proxy, so the list is held server side. Add, fetch, remove one and clear all are separate endpoints, and the button reconciles its state against the server on load so a saved item still reads as saved after a reload.
  • Every user-facing string comes from the theme's locale files with English fallbacks, so the feature stays translatable.
  • Contact page: the form and its confirmation flow.
  • Collection page: promotional image blocks with tablet-specific layout logic, the filter and results-count header, and product card alignment.
  • Blog list and article layouts, product page breadcrumbs and spacing, and DE/EN translation work.

Bruderer

Storefront for a Swiss confectionery maker, with a custom product filtering layer that replaces Shopify's native facets.

What was built
  • A storefront filtering client that queries an external search service and builds its filters from product metafields: allergens, certifications and chocolate type.
  • Allergen normalisation: the same allergen appears under different spellings across the store's three languages and supplier data, so each one is reduced to a canonical name with an alias list. A shopper filtering on the German, English or French term lands on the same results.
  • The client resolves its own API endpoint from the shop domain, so production and staging each hit their own search index with no config change.
  • Customer login page, product page adjustments and DE/EN/FR translation work across the storefront.

Spa Solutions

Custom discount and cart logic for a Swiss swim spa and cold plunge retailer, where the price depends on whether the customer installs the product themselves or books the installation team.

What was built
  • Discount buttons on the product page that map to dynamic Shopify discounts, so each installation choice shows its own price.
  • Installation (Montage) products added alongside the main product and kept in sync with it: same quantity, removed together, and never reachable on their own.
  • A cart drawer and cart page that recalculate prices and discounts live, with loading and disabled states so quantities cannot drift out of sync.
  • Only one discount active at a time, with the biggest one carried into checkout.

Art of Fire

Tag-driven price visibility on the theme: the client hides the price of any product just by tagging it in the Shopify admin, on both product pages and collection listings.

What was built
  • No per-product code change or theme edit is needed.
  • The behaviour matches how the store's search and filter app already treats those products.

FC Zürich

Shopify storefront for the Swiss football club: speed work that made collection and product pages at least 30% faster in three days, plus a custom collection filter.

What was built
  • Performance: image attributes and sizing to remove layout shift, minified files and fewer analytics requests.
  • Collection filtering: price filters, sorting, pagination, applied-filter chips and a separate mobile filter, with skeleton loading.
  • Match listings sorted by date, login and logout links in the footer, women's team sponsors and camp signup deadlines.

FC St. Gallen 1879

Shopify storefront for the Swiss football club, from product filtering and auctions to the club's job portal and video pages.

What was built

  • The auction page, and full player names in shirt personalisation.
  • The club's Abacus job portal embedded in a Shopify page template.
  • FCSG TV video pages, and a kids club membership form pre-filled from promotion emails.

Multi-store content sync

An admin app that keeps content in sync across a client's multiple stores: metaobjects, metafields, menus, blogs, pages and translations. Deployed as a separate instance per client and built by a team of four developers.

My contribution
  • Metaobject synchronisation: reserved Shopify types are checked for existence rather than created, definition validations are remapped against the target store, and referenced file IDs are mapped so images survive the transfer.
  • Blog metafields sync as a new route and UI, with deduplicated error summaries that expand to full detail.
  • Theme-referenced file backfill: enumerating a store's whole file library was timing out, so the app resolves only the files the live theme references and uploads those missing on the target, as a scheduled background job.
  • Exact-filename matching on file lookup, so naming collisions no longer upload the wrong asset.
  • Market adaptation, so each target store receives translations in its own primary language.

PrestaShop to Shopify migration app

An admin app that migrates customers and historical orders from PrestaShop into Shopify through the Admin GraphQL API. Built once and run per market, first Switzerland and then the UAE.

How it works
  • The hard requirement was silence. Importing tens of thousands of historical customers and backdated orders into a live store would, by default, email every customer an account invitation and an order receipt.
  • The guarantee is enforced by the build: order creation is reachable through a single function that hardcodes the receipt options to false and bypasses inventory, customers are created without a password or invited state, and a guard test fails the build if the invite mutations are ever referenced.
  • A three-file upload stepper for the PrestaShop exports, with a dry run by default: parsed counts, per-file previews, unmatched customers, missing SKUs and blocked rows, all before anything is written.
  • Import is a separate action behind a confirmation that restates the no-email guarantee and the target shop domain. It runs customers then orders oldest first, reports live progress and can be cancelled.
  • Idempotent and resumable, so a failed run can be re-run safely, with a downloadable CSV report of every source row.

Process

How we work

  1. Discover

We learn how your store and business run, what needs to connect, and what success looks like.

  2. Plan

We agree on scope, approach and trade-offs in plain language before writing code.

  3. Build

Iterative delivery with regular progress updates, code review and testing on a staging store.

  4. Launch & support

A careful release, then follow-up so your team can run what we built with confidence.
